MIDHURST MILERS

Well done team - great turnout, provisional result suggests that we were 10th overall - although not quite as good as hoped/expected, probably due in part to a large turnout/competitive field.

Tim H 59th
Richard 76th
David 121st
Nick 122nd

A complete team consists of 5 men and 3 women, but we need depth in numbers to do really well

This is a very friendly league for runners of all abilities and every single one of our members is capable of a very respectable result

We will try and arrange lift shares from the Grange in Midhurst - watch out on the email group for details

Not sure whether you're ready to join a running club just yet?

You might be wondering how fit you need to be to join a running club. The Midhurst Milers welcomes runners of all abilities. However, when asked the question, we usually advise that to get the most of the Wednesday evening sessions you should be able to jog continuously for approximately 30 minutes (it doesn’t matter what speed) before you come along for the first time.

That’s not a rule – it’s just intended to give you an idea of what to expect and help you feel more confident about coming. If you’re not sure, you could always pop into the gym and try it out on the treadmill first.

Depending on your level of fitness, it is likely to be quite challenging the first time you come along . Please stick with it! We’ve all been there, so we know how you feel. We also know how quickly people improve once they start running with us regularly.

Still not sure?

Please feel free to send us an email to info@midhurst10k.co.uk, call us on 01730 814339 or just pop in to the Grange on a Wednesday evening at 7pm for a chat. We hope to hear from you soon!
