Boxing Day Fun Run, The Crown & Cushion, Haslemere, 26th Dec 2006

Report by Tim Young

It was only a Boxing Day Fun Run, but I got a trophy so I went home very happy!

I led up the first hill which was very exciting but after a mile two other guys caught and passed me. By the time I got to the drinks table at 2 miles I had a crowd of runners just behind me so I ran with the beer instead of stopping, and made sure quite a bit was spilt!

On the long road downhill to the finish I relaxed a bit too much and had to sprint to avoid being passed by the first lady!

The race results are divided into three categories; Drinkers, Runners, and Women, so the results show a category position and an overall race position.
